About Us

HarrysButtons.com was started for the main purpose of providing structured, production-type employment opportunities for our son, Harry, and his friends.

Harry is a young adult with autism, who has many special friends.  Most of them are from his high school years, where they seemed to have bonded by participating together in local special recreation programs and Special Olympic competitions. 

After supervising most of this group throughout their younger years in these social and competitive programs, it became apparent that as young adults, the next hurdles in life for them to prepare for would involve their social and competitive employment skills.

Since their high school graduations, these friends have gone on to serve their apprenticeships through several years of sheltered workshop training and various volunteer positions within our community.

They are now ready to spread their wings and fly ............
and fly they will!
